Grant awarded to Greensburg Recycled Art Show

Organization received grant from the Indiana Arts Commission

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Indiana Arts Commission is providing a $3,750 grant to the Arts & Cultural Council of Decatur County. 

The funds will be used to create the Greensburg / Decatur County Recycled Art Show which will take place during the month of September. 

The art show is a partnership between the Arts & Cultural Council of Decatur County,  Art on the Square Gallery and Decatur County Solid Waste Management. 

“Our mission and goal as an organization is to promote, support, and enhance arts and cultural activities through education, exposure, and participation,”  said Devin Morgan, President of the Arts & Cultural Council of Decatur County. 

Greensburg residents can submit recycled artwork to Art on the Square Gallery until August 24. 

The Recycled Art Show will be on display from September 1 through September 24. 

“We are especially excited that the Art on the Square Gallery has partnered with us to exhibit this show during the month of September, as it coincides with the Tree City Fall Festival,” organizers said.
