Greensburg cuts ribbon on expanded runway

Funds were secured through the federal government and State of Indiana.

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- Officials cut the ribbon on a new runway at the Greensburg Municipal Airport on Saturday.

The expansion of the airport has been a project since the early 2000s, spanning over two decades and five mayoral administrations.

Funds were secured through the federal government and State of Indiana.

The expansion of the airport provides the community the opportunity to attract new industry, jobs and welcome more visitors to our community.
