Season begins on Friday
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Greensburg girls basketball team has high hopes for the season.
The Lady Pirates are ranked #1 in Class 3A in the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association's preseason poll. They are ranked #15 out of all classes in the same poll.
The team is coached by Jason Simpson and are led by standout player Leah West who has committed to Belmont University to continue her basketball career.
The Pirates will host Jac-Cen-Del to kickoff the season at 7 p.m. Friday.
