Won district award
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The Greensburg Rotary Club is being recognized for the difference they are making in the community.
They not only donated four AED’s, but have also organized trash pickups, helped with an archery tournament, and have assisted in numerous community events.
The organization was awarded the Small Club of the Year by their Rotary International district. Greensburg was the only club out of 36 to receive the award.
Greensburg Rotary President Rob DeHoff says they were recognized for factors including club growth, commitment to community and social media presence.
“It is just a nice confirmation that our hard work and efforts are paying off for the community. Also, to be know our work isn’t just recognized within the community but across the district,” DeHoff said.
Rotary members Steve Freeman, Mandy Lohrum, Jeff Emsweller and Kelby Owens were awarded as super recruiters by the Rotary.
