Involved in numerous clubs and organizations
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A Greensburg High School senior is getting recognition for her academic achievements and community involvement.
The Greensburg Optimist Club recently named Kenzie Ebbing as their Youth of the Month.
Kenzie is set to graduate at the top of her class with more than 30 college credits already obtained.
She has been involved in many clubs and organizations such as SADD Club where she has served on the Indiana SADD Teen Board since 2022.
The class president is also an FFA member who placed 4th at the State FFA Convention for Plant and Soil demonstrations
Kenzie is also employed at Petal Pushers as well as Denim and Honey.
She is also The 812’s weekly photographer for Greensburg football!
“Kenzie is known for her window art, chalk art on menu boards, website design, and other graphic design work. Notably, Kenzie designed and painted one of the children’s benches for the Greensburg Public Library,” said The Optimist Club.
In her spare time, Kenzie enjoys volunteering with Hands of Hope, organizing trash cleanup in Greensburg, is a past leader at Camp Invention. She also enjoys weightlifting!
Back in the spring, Kenzie worked with another student to put on a great fun-packed Friday night for our students and community. With her efforts over $1700 was raised to donate to our neighbors and friends at Jac-Cen-Del High School in memory of senior Carson Hughes.
