Students learn about manufacturing
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Greensburg High School students took a visit to Batesville Tool & Die on Friday.
The manufacturing class had 25 students and is taught by Technical Instructor Michael Wilds.
BTD program coordinator Toby Walsman spoke to the kids about the history of manufacturing and what might lie ahead in the future.
He addressed the importance of excelling in their education while commended each of them for taking their first step in career of choice.
After the presentation, the students took a tour of Batesville Tool & Die, which has been in operation since 1978.
