Greensburg teacher honored with Sagamore of the Wabash

John Pratt honored with Indiana's highest award

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- Longtime Greensburg High School teacher John Pratt was presented with the highest honor the governor of Indiana can give to a citizen.

Pratt was presented with the Sagamore of the Wabash Wednesday morning. The honor was delivered by State Senator Jean Leising and retired representative Cleo Duncan.

The history teacher was presented with the award based on his years of service in the classroom and the community.
