Greensburg tops JCD in girl's season opener

(OSGOOD, Ind.) -- Greensburg girl's basketball got off to a good start when they beat Jac-Cen-Del this weekend.

Pirates sophomore Aly Powers scored 18 points to lead all scorers in the 63-44 win in Osgood Friday night.

Jac-Cen-Del's Reagan Hughes was the Eagles' leading scorer with 12 points.

Greensburg's Mylie Wilkison scored 11 followed by teammates Leah West and Mary Harmon, who added ten points each.

The Pirates are back Ton the court at North Decatur High School Tuesday night.

The Eagles will host Shawe Memorial on Tuesday.
