Hank Ruff to perform in Rising Sun Saturday

Reached #1 on iTunes charts

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – A rising country artist influenced by the music of the 1980’s and 90’s will perform in Southeast Indiana on Saturday.

Hank Ruff & The Hellbenders will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Rising Sun Stars and Stripes Celebration.

Ruff was named after Hank Williams and recently graduated from Indiana University.

His latest album “Hellbender” went #1 on the iTunes all-genre chart and he has played all over the Midwest with country stars such as Jordan Davis, Michael Ray, and Conner Smith.

Most of Ruff’s song catalog includes songs written by him and his dad.

He describes his music as a combination of traditional country with modern influences.

The Bloomington native is spending more and more time in Nashville with the goal of becoming a major artist in the country industry. Be sure to check him out this weekend while he is in Southeast Indiana.
