Three different drop-off locations
(VEVAY, Ind.) – A donation drive has been established to help the storm victims in western North Carolina.
Vevay native Lane Penick has launched the drive and plans to deliver the supplies to some of the hardest hit areas.
He has spoken with some people in those areas and has identified the greatest needs when it comes to donations.
That would be: Heavy totes, Shelving, Buckets with Lids, Boots, 2-Cycle Oil and Rain Gear.
Donations are being accepted at three locations from now until Saturday:
-Switzerland County 4-H Fairgrounds Commercial Building
-Vevay IGA during normal business hours
-Switzerland County Health Department between 8am-4pm on weekdays.
Monetary donations are also being accepted as there is a bank account created at Friendship State Bank labeled “Helene Relief - Dawson Penick.”
