High school football scores in Southeast Indiana

Final regular season game of the year

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- Here are final scores and game recaps from across Southeast Indiana on Friday, October 13.


The Lawrenceburg Tigers handled rival South Dearborn with a 42-21 win at Dick Meador Stadium. The Tigers end the regular season with a 7-2 record and South Dearborn finished 5-4.


East Central dominated again on Friday with a 41-7 win at Roncalli. The Trojans have forced a running clock in 8 out of 9 games this season and have outscored their opponents 395-49 this year.


Batesville continued to build on their successful season as the Bulldogs went to 7-1 with an easy 55-14 win at Connersville.


Greensburg lost to Rushville 52-13 with a scary moment at the end. Pirates senior Brayden Rankin was taken from the field by ambulance with 5 minutes remaining. The game was called at that point. While his injury is undisclosed, Greensburg coach Wes Anderson says Rankin was conscience and it is not believed to be serious. Pirates finish the season with an 0-9 record and Rushville goes 3-6 on the year.


The Milan Indians put on a clinic in Madison as they cruised past the Cubs 43-0 to finish the regular season 6-3.


North Decatur also steamrolled their opponent on Friday. The Chargers beat Switzerland County 47-0. North finishes the regular season with a 6-3 record and the Pacers fall to 5-4.


The closest game of the night was in Brookville. Franklin County lost to Beech Grove 28-27 and the Wildcats finish the season with a 3-6 record.


South Decatur had a long road to their game where they faced Dayton Christian in Miamisburg, Ohio. The Cougars left victorious with a 38-15 win to improve their record to 7-2 on the year.
