Supports the new Rehabilitation & Medical Office Building
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County presented a check for
$256,932 to Decatur County Memorial Hospital on Tuesday.
The large donation was made possible after a year-long Capital Campaign by the foundation.
The Foundation will continue to transfer funds to the hospital as funds come in from the campaign.
“When our community provided feedback on the types of services needed close to home, access to expanded resources in physical activity was at the top of the list. We are grateful for the generous support of donors who see the value and importance of this new facility,” stated Foundation Director Mandy Jo Lohrum. “The Foundation’s support of the newest addition to the DCMH campus exemplifies our commitment to serving our community and meeting their needs.”
The Rehabilitation & Medical Office Building is home to Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Orthopedic providers, and Family Medicine providers which delivers comprehensive outpatient services all under one roof. Having all these services available in a single location offers increased convenience for patients. The location is to the north of the Hospital on the main campus. The building offers 26,000 square feet of space to ensure patients receive the quality care they deserve.
“We are so thankful for the Foundation’s campaign. Our community has many who are grateful for the compassionate care DCMH provides and our team appreciates the generous gift to support the new state-of-the-art Rehabilitation & Medical Offices Building,” said hospital President/CEO Rex McKinney. “The success of the hospital relies on the support of our community, and projects like this demonstrate how grateful and appreciative our community is toward their hospital.”
