The motorcycle group gives back to others
(AURORA, Ind.) -- The Infamous Few Charity Riders recently stopped by the YES Home to deliver a $6,000 check.
Infamous Few is a motorcycle group that donates to others in various ways in multiple Southern Indiana counties. Last month, they held a charity ride for the Metamora Volunteer Fire Department.
This weekend, they stopped by the youth home with a big donation.
The YES Home is a residential group home for 12 to 20-year-olds, providing a structured, nurturing environment for abused, neglected and abandoned children.
"This group called a couple of years ago and said they would like to do a motorcycle ride to raise funds for the Yes Home. We had no idea that in 3 years they would add Jeeps and side by sides and more than double the size and donations," the Yes Home said when they announced the donation.
The youth home is currently raising funds to renovate their building in order to serve more youth. The plan is to house ages 10-14 on the first floor and older youth on the second floor.
