Japanese restaurant to open in Batesville

Located at the Kroger Shopping Center

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) -- A hibachi and sushi restaurant will open next month in Batesville.

Segoku Hibachi and Sushi announced the Batesville location earlier this week. It has another location in North Vernon that opened in May of 2023.

It will be located at the Kroger shopping center, at the site of the former Pizza Hut.

The owner tells The 812 that they will open in February, however, they do not have a set date.

The menu shows lunch and dinner options with a sushi bar, kids menu, appetizers, and soup and salad options.
