Also features raffle and split-the-pot
(HARRISON, Ind.) – An annual softball tournament in honor of an East Central graduate will take place in Harrison this weekend.
24-year-old Jenna Clark passed away from her cancer battle in 2014.
Her family created the Dragonfly Foundation Softball Tournament in 2017 to give back to the organization that helped them during the difficult times. The Dragonfly Foundation is a non-profit that helps young cancer patients and their families find strength, courage and joy.
The 2-day softball tournament consists of both men’s and co-ed teams and takes place at River City Ballpark West in Harrison on Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to the tournament, a raffle and split-the-pot will be held to raise additional funds for Dragonfly.
The event raised more than $3,000 in its first year and it has grown ever since.
