Program for first through fourth graders
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Kids Discovery Factory welcomed elementary students to their museum for the “STEAM on Sycamore” day camp last week.
The third annual event allowed students to participate in hands-on activities centered around Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
Some activities allowed kids to design stomp rockets, build boats that were powered by chemical reactions, and Geometric Watercolors which integrated math concepts with artistic design.
"We are thrilled with the success of this camp and the impact the opportunities have on youth in our community" said Dawn Koch, Museum Educator. "None of this would be possible without the support of our Annual Fund donors."
Kids Discovery Factory is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is supported by many regional foundations, corporations, and individuals in southeastern Indiana.
