While raising funds for cancer patients
(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Kensington Harrison does more than compete in pageants.
The incoming senior uses her platform to help children who are battling cancer.
It’s a mission she’s been on since her friend, Brady Gabbard, lost his brief cancer battle in 2021.
The 17-year-old launched her own cupcake business last summer where all proceeds go toward her initiative called Kensington's Krusade which collects and distributes comfort care bags to cancer patients.
This past weekend, Kensington was crowned Pure International Teen at a pageant in Tennessee.
The Lawrenceburg senior is hoping to find local community service opportunities and other projects to further her mission of reaching as many children’s hospitals as she can.
