Made possible Lawrenceburg Kiwanis
(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Lawrenceburg students were given a unique experience to learn from a motivational youth speaker on Monday.
Acclaimed speaker Ted Wiese, of Indianapolis, was welcomed to the school to spread motivation and inspiration to young adults.
The day began with Wiese talking with 40 students from Lawrenceburg High School and Greendale Middle School. Those students were encouraged to embrace their potential as proactive leaders within their respective schools.
Wiese later address the entire student body of both schools. He focused on reminding students that a better school culture begins with themselves.
“I firmly believe that our students and schools can only reach their potential when students assume genuine leadership roles. Equipping students with essential leadership skills is paramount to fostering a proactive change within our school communities,” said Lawrenceburg High School principal Jared Leiker.
The visit by Wiese was made possible by the Lawrenceburg Kiwanis Club.
