Superintendent Karl Galey stopped by the cafeteria
(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) -- The first day of kindergarten can be a scary experience for children.
Lawrenceburg Schools realized that kids are in a strange environment for the first time and wanted to find a way to ease their burden.
Superintendent Karl Galey and other staff take time each year to work in the cafeteria during the kids first-ever school lunch.
Kindergartners learned how to order milk, pick up their trays and walk in a single-file line.
The staff has another chore next week. Lawrenceburg Primary will welcome their first-ever Preschool class into the school on Monday.
