Lightning strikes home in Switzerland Co.

Nobody was hurt

(MOOREFIELD, Ind.) – Strong storms left their mark in Switzerland County on Thursday. 

One home took a direct hit from lightning which sparked a fire. 

Moorefield Community firefighters rushed to the scene and was able to extinguish the fire.

Firefighters say the home suffered only minor damage.
