Local siblings design T-shirt to benefit Yes Home

Made donation this weekend

(AURORA, Ind.) –Back in the spring, 6-year-old Zach Geisler of Dearborn County asked his parents if he could design a t-shirt to sell.

His parents said yes and his older siblings, Ellsie and Nathan, decided to get nvolved as well.

The family agreed that proceeds from a t-shirt should go toward helping other people in need.

They chose the YES Home in Aurora which is a residential group home for youth who have suffered from abuse, neglect or being abandoned.

The siblings started selling shirts and have now made a $250 donation to the YES Home over the weekend.

How incredible is this family and these kids! And what a way for a family to do community together,” the YES Home said.

During the donation drop off, the Geisler family was joined by David and Tammy Wismann.

The Wismann family is connected to the YES Home as one of the founding members in 1981 was James Wismann.

The t-shirts are still available for purchase and you can learn more by clicking here.
