(WEST CHESTER, OH.) -- A group of middle school soccer players had a strong performance at the Ohio President's Cup.
The team is called the Cincinnati West Girls 2009 Hurricanes which is a group of incoming eighth and ninth graders. The team is coached by Lawrenceburg varsity coach Bill Offutt.
During the tournament, they played three games and netted six goals while allowing zero. They finished second overall in the Ohio Presidents Cup after losing in the finals.
The players with local ties include Kadence Strahan, Khloé Neeley, Stevi Peak (Lawrenceburg), along with Lexie Fey (East Central), Addie Reding (Batesville), and Ashlynn Jesop and Emma South of Switzerland County.
