Local Whitetails Unlimited chapter donates to Franklin Co. building project

West Fork Chapter gave $3,500 to build expo hall

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) -- The West Fork Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited made a donation to the Franklin County Fairgrounds building project Wednesday night.

A fundraiser is currently underway to build a new expo hall at the fairgrounds by next summer.

The West Fork Chapter handed a $3,500 check to the Franklin County Fair Board last night.

"An organization like this is stepping up to the plate and showing that they care about Franklin County," said fair board vice president Brian Baxter.

"The West Fork Chapter cares about the youth, they care about educating kids, they care about this community be a big hunting community. So this $3,500 was instrumental in helping to just finish the building off," Baxter added.
