Kevin McKinney has served on the fire department since 2001
(LOGAN, Ind.) – A Dearborn County business is joining the fight to help a Bright firefighter who is battling cancer.
Kevin McKinney has Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He has served on the Bright Fire Department for 24 years and has held the roles of Assistant EMS Chief, Captain, and Lieutenant.
Logan Supermart has launched a raffle in order to help with McKinney’s medical expenses.
The raffle includes Reds tickets, televisions and much more. Be sure to stop by the store and enter the raffle prior to July 13 when the drawing will be held.
“We need to come together as a community to rally behind Kevin who has served the Bright Community for many years,” said the organizers.
McKinney is also a husband to Emily and has three daughters, Erin, Kate, and Julie
The fire department also has a benefit account established and you can help by visiting the Bright branch of First Financial Bank and asking for the “Kevin McKinney Donation Fund.”
