Major announcement expected in missing Rush Co. teen

Tindall went missing in June

(ARLINGTON, Ind.) -- 17-year-old Valerie Tindall disappeared from her Rush County home in early June.

Police quickly turned to the public to ask for help after she went missing on June 7.

More than five months later, Valerie is still missing.

The Rush County Sheriff's Office is expected to make a major announcement in the investigation Wednesday.

It follows the arrest of 57-year-old Patrick Scott who is suspected of being the last person with her before she went missing.

Valeries mother, Shena Sandefur, is asking for prayers as developments emerge.

“To all Valerie's prayer warriors, let’s spend today praying with all you have in you. Please. She needs your prayers for answers. Something big is going to take place. We need everyone to pray, pray, pray for answers today and her safe return to take place following the answers we shall uncover," she said.

The 812 will cover the announcement on Wednesday.
