Millhousen Hometown Christmas set for Saturday

Event proceeds help local families who have fallen on hard times

(MILLHOUSEN, Ind.) -- The community of Millhousen hosts an annual Christmas event that truly makes a difference every year.

Money generated through this event goes toward the purchase of Christmas gifts for local families who have fallen on hard times. The gifts are delivered on Christmas morning.

The seventh annual Millhousen Hometown Christmas Wonderland takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 2.

Here is the schedule of events:

• A Craft Show will be held at the Millhousen Knights of St John from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Stone's Family Restaurant will have a Kid's Friendly Buffet from noon to 8 p.m. and Santa will also stop by the restaurant from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. along with activities and music on the front porch.

• There will also be a hayride with the Grinch from Stones from 4-7 p.m. and there will be other activities and music

Annual door prizes donated by the community and craft fair vendors will take place December 10, organizers added.
