Millhousen to rally for Craig Schutte family today

Lost cancer battle last month

(MILLHOUSEN, Ind.) – A memorial benefit will be held for the family of Craig Schutte on Sunday afternoon.

Schutte was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2020 and lost his battle on December 23.

He was 40-years-old and left behind his wife, Charlene, and two daughters, Taylor and Kennedy.

“We invite you to come together and show your support for his wife and two children during this difficult time,” organizers said.

The memorial benefit will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Millhousen Knights of St. John Hall.

There will be a carry-out fried chicken dinner with potatoes and green beans. The cost is just $15.

It will also feature a free-will donation bake sale.

If you can’t make it, you can support the family by dropping off a check addressed to Charlene Schutte at Stones Family Restaurant or any Napoleon State Bank location.
