Moores Hill Legion to celebrate 100 years in October

(MOORES HILL, Ind.) – The Moores Hill American Legion is turning a century old in 2024. 

Moores Hill, along with other legions in our area, have welcomed veterans and their families ever since the organization was established in 1919 following World War I. 

There will be a centennial celebration for Moores Hill on Saturday, October 12. 

It’s an event for all to attend as it will feature hay rides, door prizes, live music and a spaghetti and meatball dinner.

The event will kick off at 3 p.m. at the legion which is located at 14656 Wood Street in Moores Hill.
