Nobody hurt after semi, car crash in Batesville

Happened on State Road 46

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A semi collided with an SUV in Batesville on Friday afternoon. 

It happened around 1:20 p.m. on State Road 46 and Pearl Street. 

The semi was driven by William Wietlisbach, of Greensburg. 

Police say he did not yield the right-of-way to an SUV that was turning onto State Road 46 from Pearl Street. 

The SUV was driven by Diana Storms, of Batesville. 

Both vehicles suffered significant damage, however, neither driver was hurt. 

Batesville Police were assisted on scene by Batesville Fire & EMS.
