McFarling averaged 27 points per game for the Chargers
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- Former North Decatur standout Jill (Morton) McFarling will be inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
McFarling is one of just twelve women's players named to the 2024 Hall of Fame Class which was announced Tuesday.
The 1996 graduate averaged 27 points per game during her senior year and was an Indiana All-Star, Gatorade Player of the Year, Wendy’s High School Heisman Nominee and a North South All-Star.
She scored a career 1,656 points at North Decatur and had 324 rebounds, 381 assists and 316 steals.Â
McFarling would later play at Louisville and became the university's first player to be drafted in the WNBA.
She still holds the Louisville season three point field goal percentage record at 53.5 percent.
McFarling is currently a technical specialist, and has been since 2013.
She will be inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame on April 27, 2024.
