(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – North Decatur High School is bringing back a homecoming tradition for the first time in three decades.
The school will host a Homecoming Parade for the first time in 31 years.
School officials are crediting student council for making it possible. The council is led by Cooper Parmer and Vice President Garrett Schwering
It will start at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25 and the theme is “Home for the Holidays.”
The parade will take place at the NDHS parking lot.
Grand marshals will be retired North Decatur teachers Margaret Davis and Julie Record.
After the parade, there will be activities on the football field including youth games, powderpuff, food trucks and more.
Per tradition, North Decatur will showcase the Homecoming Court, grades 7-12, during
halftime of the football game Friday night, where a Freshmen Princess and Prince, along with a Senior Queen and King will be crowned
