Ohio County commissioners reject Link 101

(RISING SUN, ind.) -- Ohio County officials are saying no to the proposed Link 101 project.

The commissioners adopted a resolution in opposition to Link 101 this week.

"Under no uncertain terms, this resolution sends a bold message to the State of Indiana that the executive branch of the Ohio County government and the people for whom it represents firmly and unequivocally rejects Link 101 in all its forms," said local lawyer Stephen Otte.

"This resolution has quietly been in the works for the past several weeks as the Commissioners and some members of our group have been working closely together to prepare its terms for adoption," he added.
