Festival makes dreams come true for children with serious illnesses

(AURORA, Ind.) -- One of the most unique, inspiring events in Southeast Indiana was held this weekend.

The Oser-Roth & Friends Fest is a massive backyard party that is welcome to the public.

There's everything from swimming, volleyball, music, fireworks and even helicopter rides. The party starts at noon and ends when the last band gets tired.

But what makes this event so special are the kids that they call "Angels".

Each year, the festival selects six children battling critical and terminal illnesses and make their wishes come true.

The Oser-Roth & Friends Fest have raised over $500,000 for 59 children since it began 14 years ago.

It takes place at Mission Heights Farm at 4340 Veraestau Lane in Aurora.
