Two truckloads of produce will be available to community
(OSGOOD, Ind.) -- The Upper Room Cafe has made it their mission to serve more than just coffee in Osgood.
This week, the coffee shop is giving out free food to whoever shows up.
A semi truck of apples will be available to community members starting at noon on Thursday.
There will also be a truckload of cantaloupe that the Upper Room will be giving away starting on Saturday.
Both the apples and cantaloupe are first-come, first-serve and there is no limit. The owners want to make sure nobody sells the produce, which is a requirement with their ministry.
The Upper Room is owned by Ken and Char MacPhee who also lead Just For Him Ministries in Osgood.
The coffee shop is located at 721 S. Tanglewood Road and you can get more information by clicking here.
