Pacers offer EC junior chance to sing National Anthem

Stewart has chance to sing at NBA game

(INDIANAPOLIS) – East Central junior Chloe Stewart sung the National Anthem at two IHSAA state championship games this past weekend. 

Her voice caught the attention of the Indiana Pacers.

Stewart was invited to sing the National Anthem at an NBA game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

“I feel so honored to have even sang at such a loved event but the offer to be able to sing at a real basketball game is baffling! It makes me feel like my dream of singing could actually happen,” Stewart told The 812. 

Chloe says her goal is to go to college for musical theater. 

She credits her teachers and East Central Principal Tom Black for telling others about her talent.

“That is the only reason I was able to do this! And, I couldn’t feel more grateful,” she added.
