Person shot to death at Clifty Falls State Park

Happened Wednesday afternoon

(MADISON, Ind.) – One person was killed in a shooting at Clifty Falls State Park in Madison on Wednesday, according to WDRB. 

The identity of the victim as well as the suspect or suspects have not been released.

Police responded to the north entrance of the state park around 3 p.m. to investigate the incident. 

WDRB reports that the Jefferson County sheriff said they have identified a possible suspect. 

There is no active threat to the public, police added.
