Police investigate death at IU-Columbus campus

There is no threat to the public

(COLUMBUS, Ind.) – Columbus Police are investigating a death that happened on the campus of Indiana University-Columbus on Wednesday.

Authorities say a 40-year-old man was found in a parking lot along Central Avenue.

IUC was briefly placed on lockdown, however, police confirm there is no danger to the public. 

Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstance of the man’s death.
