Deputies say there was no credible threat
(GREENSBURG, Ind.) -- A social media post led to a bomb threat investigation at two local schools Wednesday.
The FBI contacted the Decatur County Sheriff's Office and said a bomb threat was made online early this morning.
Deputies rushed to South Decatur High School and South Decatur Elementary School to investigate and to also ensure safety.
Investigators say a South Decatur High School student made the online threat.
Police say there was no credible threat to the school or students at anytime.
The investigation is continuing as the sheriff's office is thanking Greensburg Police, Decatur County Schools resource officers, the FBI, ATF, Columbus Police, the Decatur County Prosecutors Office and Decatur County Court Services.
