Possible Cross Plains tornado caught on security camera

(CROSS PLAINS, Ind.) – A Cross Plains resident is sharing security camera footage from Tuesday night. 

It appears to show a tornado touch down along Aberdeen Road. 

The footage was recorded by Clea Godsey who lives on the road. 

The National Weather Service has not yet confirmed the tornado, however, the severe weather did leave a path of destruction. 

Possible tornado struck Amish family's property

One Amish family on Aberdeen Road suffered the loss of their barn, the equipment inside of it and three of their horses were injured. 

Tanner Scudder is a neighbor of that family and launched a Go Fund Me for them. 

The family not only lost their barn, but the wife has breast cancer that is spreading to her lungs.

“When I had my twins, they catered me with food and help. They are great people and are in need of help. And it’s my time to return the favor,” Scudder said.
