Caused property damage
(CROSS PLAINS, Ind.) – There was a possible tornado near Cross Plains on Tuesday night.
It happened around 5:55 p.m. and caused damage to a farmer’s barn along Aberdeen Road.
It has not been confirmed yet but residents tell The 812 they witnessed the tornado traveling across the field before hitting the farmer's property.
It does not appear anybody was injured, but the farmer also lost several pieces of machinery.
The possible tornado was part of a storm system that produced winds and hail in other parts of Southeast Indiana.
