Rachel Holt’s debut single reaches #1 on charts

Among top performing songs in the world

(MILAN, Ind.) – Milan native Rachel Holt released her debut country single on Friday.

The teenager made a splash worldwide that she didn’t expect.

Her single ‘I Was Gonna Be’ quickly climbed up the charts after it was released and it reached #1 out of all downloaded country songs on iTunes by Saturday night.

Rachel’s debut also was ranked #10 globally out of all iTunes downloads.

This was her first release as a member of Baste Records which was founded by Chris Wallin, who has wrote major hits for Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry and other artists.

Before the song was released, Rachel told The 812, “If I can leave an impact on even one person through this song, then that’s all that matters.”
