RCCF awards $194K in scholarships

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF) awarded a total of $194,155 in scholarships to seniors who graduated this year in Ripley County.

These scholarships support students as they pursue higher education at colleges and universities throughout the country.

“Investing in our future generation is paramount to the success of Ripley County,” said Janice Lamping, Program Coordinator of the Ripley County Community Foundation. “Scholarship opportunities can make a life-changing difference for students facing financial barriers to higher education. By helping them achieve their academic goals, we’re not only empowering individuals, but also enriching the entire community.”

RCCF added that these scholarships help lead to more well-educated people in Ripley County which contributes to a stronger workforce, a more vibrant economy, and a more engaged citizenry.

Through the generosity of donors who establish scholarship funds, the Community Foundation is able to connect deserving students with the financial resources they need to pursue their educational dreams.
