Registration underway for Gobble Wobble 5K on Thanksgiving

Held in St. Leon and proceeds benefit food pantries

(ST. LEON, Ind.) – The popular Gobble Wobble 5K in St. Leon will take place on Thanksgiving morning.

The annual run/walk event comes with a good cause as proceeds are given to the North Dearborn, Sunman and East Central High School food pantries.

The proceeds are used to provide food and household items to families in need and to also support them during Christmas time.

Organizers say this is now the largest fundraiser of the year for those pantries and the race is the ninth largest Thanksgiving Day 5K in Indiana.

The Gobble Wobble 5K starts and ends at the St. Leon American Legion which is located at 28866 Post 464 Road.

Registration is already underway and the race will be held at 9 a.m. on November 28.
