Camp held at South Ripley Elementary School
(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – Some Ripley County students got insight into engineering and robotics through a summer camp.
Genesis: Pathways to Success hosted their fourth annual VEXplorers Robotics Camp at South Ripley Elementary last week.
There were 28 students who competed in various challenges involving robotics with the goal of fostering a better understanding of engineering principles through hands-on experimentation.
They also participated in different activities including Battle Bots.
“I liked Battle Bots the most because it was a fun game that made me think about robotics in a different way and without instructions,” said Nolan Wanstrath, an incoming 6th grader at St. Louis Catholic School.
