Rising Sun names new band director

Alex Courter is a RSHS graduate

(RISING SUN, Ind.) -- A Rising Sun High School alum has been hired as the new band director.

Alex Courter will oversee the band beginning in the fall.

She is a 2019 graduate of Rising Sun and is currently completing her degree at Mount St. Joseph

Courter replaces Megan Gryspeerdt who was hired as band director at East Central High School.
