Rising Sun softball advances to Regionals

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – Rising Sun’s softball team was welcomed back to town with a police and fire truck escort after a big win on Friday. 

The Shiners defeated Henryville 13-3 to capture the Sectional Championship. 

They will face West Washington at home for the Regional game at 6 p.m. Tuesday. 

The team is having an impressive year finishing the regular season with a 22-1 record and going undefeated in conference play.
