One jailed after school bus chase ends in Decatur County

Police: Bus was stolen in Cincinnati

(DECATUR CO., Ind.) -- A police pursuit of a stolen bus from Cincinnati ended in a Decatur County cornfield Tuesday morning.

Police say the bus was stolen around 10 a.m. and there were no students on the bus. It led to a police chase starting in Ohio and going through Dearborn and Decatur counties.

"Multiple police vehicles and property were damaged during the pursuit. There were no injuries," said ISP spokesperson Sgt. Stephen Wheeles.

32-year-old Chad Murdock was arrested and facing numerous charges related to the bus pursuit.
