Search continues for missing Franklin Co. man

Volunteers searched all weekend

(CEDAR GROVE, Ind.) – The search continues for a missing 50-year-old from Franklin County. 

A silver alert was issued for Roger Purcell on Friday night after he disappeared from his home on School Road in Cedar Grove on Thursday. 

Search groups including Cincinnati Search and Rescue were joined by local volunteers to search for Purcell around his property this weekend. 

So far, there hasn’t been any luck finding him.

Purcell is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches, 250 pounds, and was last seen wearing a gray cutoff tank top and white shorts.
