Search for Carson Hughes suspended for the night

The 18-year-old last seen at Versailles State Park

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – Jac-Cen-Del senior Carson Hughes was reported missing at Versailles State Park around 1:30 p.m. Friday. 

Officials spent the afternoon searching land and water for the teenager at the state park. They are suspending the search due to darkness and unsafe search conditions. 

DNR officials say his vehicle was found unlocked with the keys still within the vehicle near the boat ramp and his kayak was located in the water nearby.
