Expected to begin around 2 p.m. Friday
(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – The winter weather advisory has been issued for the majority of Southeast Indiana.
Snow showers are expected to begin around 2 p.m. Friday.
Forecasters say a total of 1 to 3 inches of snow could fall before 1 a,m. Saturday.
Chad Gutzwiller with WeatherWave expects the snow to initially melt on the pavement. However, there may be heavier bands that could create a temporary build-up of slush, even on main roads.
Drivers should use caution this afternoon and evening due to possible slick spots and reduced visibility.
